On May 12, 2022, the commencement ceremony for the renovation of the GMP R&D laboratory for gene and cell therapy of Westlake Genetech was held in Yunqi Town, marking the official launch of the Westlake Genetech Yunqi R&D platform project. The laboratory is planned to have multiple independent pipelines and supporting quality inspection platforms to focus on independent research and development, technology improvement, and quality standard certification, meeting the clinical research needs of the company's gene editing products.
